1 RULES
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing..
1.2 No national authority prescription will apply.
1.3 IMS Rules and ORC CLUB Rules will also apply.
2 ADVERTISING
2.1 Advertising will be restricted to Category C.
2.2 All boats are required to display the supplied advertising of the event sponsors on assigned places of the hull. Advertising is available from the organising authority before the first start. Any other advertising and promotion activities concerned with the regatta before, in the time or after the event are possible on base of written agreement with organizing authority only.
2.3 The Organizing Authority may also require the installation, at no cost to competitors, onboard video cameras, or global position devices.
3 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
3.1 The regatta is open to all boats of the class: Sea sailing boats – ORC CLUB
3.2 The regatta is open to all boats with valid ORC CLUB - certificate complying with next rules for one of the categories:
o ORC RACER
o ORC CRUISER
o ORC ONE DESIGN Salona 37 R
3.3 Categories definition:
ORC RACER (ORC R) – racing boats category.
Boats with valid certificat of ORC INTERNATIONAL 2009, or ORCi 2009 can register
ORC CRUISER (ORC C) – Sport boats category.
Boats with valid certificat of ORC CLUB , complying with next rules can register:
A) One mainsail from material „Dacron“
B) One jib or genua without battens, material „Dacron“ – roller reefing, no
C) One Spinnaker , material Nylon
Forbidden equipment:
Exchangeable headsail – system TUFF – LUFF (headsail with headfoil )
Kevlar, Spectra, Mylar, Carbon, Aramid materials for the sails
More than one headsail onboard during the regatta
More than one spinnaker onboard during the regatta
Composite material for mast, boom and spinnaker pole
ORC ONE DESIGN SALONA 37 (ORC OD S37and ORC OD S37R - out)
Boats will be provided by the organizing authority with turistic – sportive equipment. No equipment changes or alterations are permitted. Boats provided by organizing authority will be available in limited number of 12. Boats not provided by the organising authority (S37R . out) shall be equipped identically with those, supplied by the organising authority. If boat (S37R – out) is assigned as not identically equipped by the measurer, it will start in the category IMS ORC International or ORC C( depdending on equipement). This category will be included in to overall ORC CLUB.
3.4 At lest one member of the crew shall have valid licence corresponding to the racing area. At least one member of the crew shall have valid licence for VHF station control
3.5 Eligible boats may enter till the 15th February 2009 by

4 FEES
Required fees are as follows:

The price includes moorings in marinas, with all included service, social program and refreshment.
For ORC Salona 37, the fee covers the charter for regatta fee from 12.th to 19th April 2008, payment for boat cleaning and spinnaker.
5 SCHEDULE
5.1 Entry and starting fee dead line 15.2. 2009.
5.2 Lottery and S37 boats takeover:
11.4.2009 od 12:00 do 13:00 – Lottery S37, Marina Kremik, Mande Charter Office
11.4.2009 – od 16:00 do 21:00 – Takeover S37 , Marina Kremik, Mande Charter Office
5.3 Registration:
11.04.2009 17:00 - 22:00 – RC office in Marína Kremik, Mande Charter Office
12.04.2009 10:00 - 18:00 – RC office in Marína Kremik, Mande Charter Office
The following documents shall be presented at registration :
• duly filled out and signed entry list with name, surname, birth date and sailing licence number for each member of the crew
• Valid ORC CLUB or ORCi Certificate
• the fee payment confirmation
The advertising of the event sponsors and the boat numbers will be hand over to the registered boats.
5.4 Measurement and inspection 11./12..04.2009 8:00 - 10:00, Marina Kremik.
5.5 Opening ceremony 13.04.2009 10:00 Marína Kremík - before Mande Charter Office
5.6 Dates of racing: 13.04.2009 - 16.04.2009
5.7 Closing ceremony and dinner: 16.04.2009, 19:00, Restaurant Staro Selo, Primošten Restaurant

5.9 The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race is 14.04.2008 10:00.
6 MEASUREMENTS
Each boat of classes shall present a valid certificate ORC Club or ORCi. It is impossible to cover all measurement at the place. The organizing authority can arrange, after negotiation, only limited measurement of the sails.
7 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The sailing instructions will be available before the time of registration at the notice board of the Race committee in Marina Kremik .
8 VENUE
Neighbourhood of Marina Kremik, Primošten and adjacent waters of the Middle Adriatic see.
9 THE COURSES
Each day 3 races are scheduled. Insore races will be of 7-15 Sm. Ofsore races are scheduled 2. Plan are will be 20 till 40 Sm.
10 PENALTY SYSTEM
Rules 44.1 and 44.2 are changed so that only one turn, including one tack and one gybe, is required.
11 SCORING
(a) When fewer than 3 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
(b) When from 4 to 7 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.
(c) When 8 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst scores.
12 HAUL-OUT RESTRICTIONS
Keel boats shall not be hauled out during the regatta except with and according to the terms of prior written permission of the race committee.
13 PRIZES
If less than 5 boats enter in a category, no prizes will be given to the category. Prizes “Grand Prix Slovakia 2008”

ORC R category - 3 best crews from the overall rank in category ORC R
ORC C category - 3 best crews from the overall rank in category ORC C
ORC OD S37R category - 3 best crews from the overall rank in category ORC OD S37

14 MEDIA RIGHTS
Competitors, owners and their guests give absolute right and permission to the Organizing Authority for any photography and video footage taken of persons and boats during the event, to be published and/or broadcast in any media, including but not limited to TV advertisements, whatsoever for either editorial or advertising purposes or to be used in press information.
15 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
16 INSURANCE
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of 1.500.000 EUR per event or the equivalent.
